# Can I move the frames?

Is there a way to move the layers instead of all of the mcs (I need this for scrolling)? I have tried this, and it didn’t work:

```php

layer1 = "Layer 1"
layer1._x += 34;

```

If you could please help me, I would be very happy. Thanx in advance.
