# Can someone explain 'fade' AS?

Hey.

I’m having to use AS to fade text and movie clips a lot on my site and feel like i’m asking people to add the code a lot. Instead it would be great if someone could explain…in idiot terms…how to write the code to make something fade from 0 to 100.

I’ve tried to find an explanation/breakdown of the structure but with no luck.
