# Can the hit spot on a button be smaller than the jpg used in button

Guys,

i am making this glow rollover effect. I want the button to glow only when one rollsOver the word. I am trying to define the hit keyframe in the button the button, but it seems like you can’t really do it unless the hit area is bigger than the jpg used. is that true?
