# Can't get .SWF with good image quality

Hello there.

Straight to the point, I can’t manage to export good bitmap quality .SWF files.

Please compare [this .SWF](http://www.deviantart.com/view/9829605/) with the image used while working on its .FLA file (shown below).

Things I’ve unsuccessfuly tryed:  
[list]  
[_]Using both .GIF, .JPG, and .PNG files;  
[_]Configuring image quality (choosing between Photo and Lossless);  
[_]Exporting the .SWF file with now compression, and with JPEG quality set to 100%;  
[_]Using

```auto
_quality

```

and

```auto
_highquality

```

on the file’s code.

Any suggestion?

The difference, to me, is a small one and you’ve already tried everything I could think of except improving its quality in Photoshop or any (photo editing) program. I don’t know what else to tell you, sorry.

I’m using Fireworks to export, it should work even better because it is a Macromedia product.

Anyway, the problem lies on how Flash saves my work into the .SWF file.

But thank you, anyway.
