I’m stuck on a piece of electronics homework at GCSE level.

I need some good and bad points on various types of capacitor, electrolytic, ceramic and polyester. I know that electrolytic can hold lots of charge and that one is very cheap to make. Ceramic isn’t polarised, and some can take higher voltages. I just need a bit of clarification.

And I’ve tried Google, but I couldn’t find much at my level.

Edit: I think this was my 400th post! Wow…
