# Changing appearance of a scrollbar/scrollpane

Is there any ways to change the appearance of the scrollbar or scrollpane provided by the Flash MX Components?

The current default one doesn’t looked nice.

when you click on the scrollbar, two flags will pop up in the properties window. choose the properties flag and you can adjust the tint, brightness, alpha, etc. however, even after playing around with it some, it is not going to drastically change the appearance. you may want to create your own…
