# Changing the Default Style to kirupa.com Revised!

Hi everyone,  
Just a heads-up that I will be making a revised version of the **[kirupa.com](http://kirupa.com) Revised** style be the default style for the forums. Today, [kirupa.com](http://kirupa.com) Classic is the default style for registered members, and [kirupa.com](http://kirupa.com) Revised is the default style for unregistered members.

The changes I will be making to the [kirupa.com](http://kirupa.com) Revised style are:

1. Fewer ads.
2. Links from the main site highlighting newer content.

I will also be testing out some cleaner layout options for the posts. The current one seems a bit busy.

The old [kirupa.com](http://kirupa.com) Classic style will always be there for you to select, but you’ll have to select it explicitly. If you are using a custom style, this whole post doesn’t apply.

Just wanted to let you all know to avoid any sudden surprises.
