My proccessor was just about fried last night. I was working away last night when all a suden there was an odd smell in the room. I turned off my winamp and noticed my PC sounded more quite then normal. I cracked the case real quick and was shocked to find my processor fan had stoped spining.
I quickly shut everything off and let the PC cool down. I got the fan running again and everything seems to be working fine. I was very worried for a good couple hours that my PC was done for.

The music usually drowns out all CPU noise, so even if the fan stopped working, I’d be actually happy because there is a great reason to replace the computer. :bad:

Yea, sounds to me like an excellent reason to get a new 64 bit processor!

And I hope that never happens to me… My brother just bought a new ThermalTake Case with an LCD temperature display and fan regulators and such…Pretty cool.

Lol those schematics are so funny². And can you thrust that system, I would consider buying a new cooler (or just the attachment system, I never took the fan of my processor so I dunno how it works) or else maybe start making backups and all 😛

Schampi it’s been like that for like 6 months so yea I do trust the rigging. Anyways I am a sucker for excuses to buy more toys. I bought a laptop a few months back so I could be more mobile and the things only left my house a handful of times. lol
