Oh God not another web browser. Soon we will all have to design sites 35 times to make them show in each one… ---

But it’s Google! I bet it’ll be 100% IE compatible with speeds of Mozilla… ---

Google is funny… I mean all they really have is their seach engine… I used to use Altavista until I found it was powered by Google. If I wanted to find something I used to use 2-3 search engines to make sure I found everything. Now I only use Google, and considering all they do for me is provide search results, which many others have done. It’s funny that I feel loyalty towards Google. Hell if I saw a Google toaster on the shelf I would buy it over another brand… ---

I can write standards-based sites that look exactly the same in three of them, and degrade gracefully in less capable browsers (like Dillo and Lynx). Guess which browser plays badly with this scheme :-/ Anyway, chances are they would use the Gecko engine, because for the past few years they’ve been big sponsors of Mozilla. ---

According to neowin (or whatever other news source), Google already hired a Sun and 4 former IE programmers. ---
