# (CMS) Adding Content

Hi. I’ve been working with Flash for a long time and just recently getting into and learning more about how to receive variables from external sources like, xml, txt, php, and so on. And right now I guess you could say I’m trying to build my own CMS system, but it’s really primitive right now so I really wouldn’t call it that, haha. I have working the replacement of things. For example I load in a txt file for the news section and place it in appropriately, and I load in jpg/gif images and place them accordingly. What I can’t figure out how to do is to ADD content. For example, if I have a gallery of 3 pictures, it’s pretty easy to make these in flash and then load them in so I can easily, externally replace the image and text and whatever. But how do I add new buttons and images so with a few edits to a txt file (or xml), I’ll have 5 pictures and buttons. I use txt files instead of xml files, just because I prefer that and use variables like &newstext=blablabla. and all that. I am interested in the flash handling part. Can anyone help me or does anyone know a tutorial on this, cuz I couldn’t find one… Thanks,
