I have an image of a house that I want the color blue to ‘fade’ into the house.
In photoshop, I would do this using the eraser tool, and just erase using the background eraser tool.
In flash mx, since the image of the house is a symbol, I cant exactly use the method of erasing,or can I
I would assume I would have to use the gradient tool and go from the blue color to the background color (which the background would be the image of the house )

How would I do this .
Post back if this is not clear.

Thanks

Well, you can edit the symbol by simply double-clicking on the house (making sure that the layer is not locked).

Post your FLA and we’ll take a look at it. :thumb:

It says that my file is too big, can I email it too you

Look only on the right of the fla

the layer named right\_fade is just the section that I want the blue to fade into the house.

I put a opacity white rectangle over it, just so you would know.

Thanks
Look forward to your response.

How does that “Report post to a moderator” work actually ? You guys receive a pm with the report or get a big red “REPORT” on your screen when you enter [kirupaforum.com](http://kirupaforum.com) (:P) or what ? Do all mods receive this report ? Just curious …
