# Colors in fireworks

in fireworks mx, i’m trying to use a light tan color. so i use the palette and select it, but it ends up reverting to either a pasty yellow or grey. it’s always done this and i don’t know how to fix it. adding to custom colors doesn’t work.  
anyone have any ideas?
