# Combobox showing up blank

I have a swf that has 3 frames, frame 1 is preloader, frame 2 is assets (items im loading from actionscript), frame 3 is actions and content. I am exporting classes for actionscript in frame 3, I have a combobox on frame 3 in a movieclip that tweens. I also have another instance of the combobox on my assets frame.

for some reason my combobox shows up blank, nothing there at all just a blank box. Any thoughts? If you require any additional info let me know and I will inform you as requested.

p.s. i read that the combobox will show up blank if the clip tweens, so i tried just putting it on the root on its own layer it is still showing up blank. Any thoughts?
