hello there! anyone have any idea how much to charge for a community website clone such as [www.craigslist.org](http://www.craigslist.org)? no graphics. itd probably take weeks to write and debug it from the ground up. i’m interested in a flat fee not hourly fee. -chris ---

I’d say it’d take me quite a bit longer than a week (if I were pressed, I’d budget at least a month, probably about 6 weeks to do it ‘right’ - if you can do it much faster than that, well, go for it, but you may not understand just how much that site really does)… 6 weeks = 240 hours, pick an hourly rate you think is fair (depending on your cost of living, how much you need the money, etc), and do the multiplication. ---

I would charge somewhere between 5000 and 10000 usd ---

yeah i guess your right with no graphics involved
