# Compiling swfs without an fla

ive seen a lot of examples about the place with .as’s with [AS][SWF (width=“640”, height=“480”, backgroundColor=“0x000000”, frameRate=“30”)] [/AS] for example and no related fla…how do you compile the swf without having a fla?
