# Complex button Question

I was using the complex button tatorial and I understand what is going on all the way up to exporting an exzternal swf. I bring in external swf from the tatorial here [http://kirupa.com/developer/mx2004/transitions.htm](http://kirupa.com/developer/mx2004/transitions.htm) . Now the problem that i get is that the code for the complex button is getUrl…

If i want to load an external swf it won’t take it. However if i put the mc in the complex button it reads it there…

I basically want to do buttons like the site of the week but the buttons loads external swf.
