Hi all!

I’m a total noob to flash and actionscript and am just discovering the incredible power of movieclips.:beam: I’m trying to create a navigation wherein a movie loads with some effects after clicking a button and disappears with the same effects _reversed_ when the user clicks another button.

After referring to some tuts on the net, I managed to get something which is approximately what I want (I’ve attached the result). The only problem is that the effects I want are triggered on mouse rollovers and roll outs instead of on mouse releases and release outs. I tried modifying the code on the invisible button to include ‘on release’ and ‘on release outside’ but it doesn’t seem to work.

Can you please have a look at the file and let me know what I’m missing?

Cheers!
