# Component tooltip

Okay, I’ve looked everywhere for a solution for this and non seem to work right. All I want to do is make a tooltip work with V2 components. I have a tooltip function and everything, I just can’t get the mouse events to work.

I tried lowlevel, it get’s the rollover, but you can’t interact with the component (combobox). And simple addeventlisteners aren’t what I need to get it it to work.

I would really like to get this to work, there’s no reason I shouldn’t be able to get a rollover event for the whole component and still be able to use it.
