# Component weight

Can anyone shed some light on how to remedy this?

When I use a component it automatically throws it’s file weight into the first frame of the movie. This is bad for what I’m trying to do, do I delete the component from the timeline and it’s weight is still in the first frame of the animation. Is there a way to clear the cache so to speak?
