sup ppl, i was looking at one of your tutorials and there was one i was interested in and it was the news flasher one and it also contained a download for (if im not mistaken) a certain component or something that i need for the tute to work. but i dont know where the file belongs , like a plugin folder or something i dunno any help is appreciated. thakn you aku ---

If you’re adding extensions / components, you need the Macromedia Extension Manager. It’s a little program that you can download from their site. Basically, once you have installed it, you can download extensions from the Web. Save them wherever you like really. Then open up the Manager. There’s a button in the top left corner with a green arrow on it. Click that, it will install a new extension. Then just seleect the component from the directory listing and OK. It will do all the hard work for you, putting it in the right place. Then you can delete the downloaded file, as the component is saved into Flash for you to use. 🙂 ---
