Can any one tell me where I can find, or even tell me them self how to use the calendar compoment in Flash MX. I don’t even know where to start with the thing.

I can help you with that, but you need to tell me exactly what you’re trying to accomplish with the calendar component.

Basicaly, I have a calendar of events for the company that I’m building the site for and I want a user to select a date on the calendar and have the scheduled event for that day show up.

we can do that. I’ll bump the thread up and I’ll attach a sample I did at work. (we’ll have to wait until tomorrow). Check back then and something should be up. let me know if you need help with explanations.
