# Container height in IE

Hi,  
For the homepage of this site, I set the container height. It looks fine in FF but in IE 6 +7 the container is almost double the height. I have tried most fixes I know. In the interior pages, the container has no specified height, and it looks fine in IE…  
any suggestions?
