# Control content on frame 10 from frame 1

My flash app has a start animation so the complete content is not on the first frame. Let’s say it’s on frame 10. Can I acces with actionscript from 1 the content on frame 10 so that I can load external data or do I have to put my actionscript on frame 10 ?
