# Controlling external swf movie

hey, i’m trying to play captivate swf files inside my flash file. I’m using loadMovie (“url”, my\_mc); and scaling the movie to fit inside the my\_mc clip however i can’t figure out how to then stop and play this movie when i want to as i need the user to be able to pause everything.

Is there a way of embedding this clip into the main timeline so when i use the command stop(); the swf will stop too?

Any help would be much appreciated.
