# Controlling one SWF from Another inside a HTML Page?

If I set up 2 individual SWF’s in a HTML page, can I communicate from one to controll the other? Example when a event is triggered in page.swf it also triggers an event in banner.swf which is in another table on the HTML page.

I also need to include a DHTML navigation bar, can I trigger flash events from a DHTML navigation bar rather then load in a whole new page?
