# Convert string to XML - how?

I want to take the following information, which I have as a string in Flash, and convert it into an XML object in AS3:

// information  
\<list\>  
\<a\>  
\<pageTitle\>What is a Change Request?\</pageTitle\>  
\<keyword1\>Change request\</keyword1\>  
\<keyword2\>CR\</keyword2\>  
\<keyword3\>\</keyword3\>  
\</a\>  
\</list\>

// my information as a string  
var myStr:String = “\<list\>\<a\>\<pageTitle\>What is a Change Request?\</pageTitle\>\<keyword1\>Change request\</keyword1\>\<keyword2\>CR\</keyword2\>\<keyword3\>\</keyword3\>\</a\>\</list\>”

// How to convert this string to an XML object?  
var myXML:XML = do what with myStr from above ???

Any input is greatly appreciated!
