# Cookies and Popups

Does any one know of a good beginners tutorial on cookies. For some reason I have never used them before.

The Task  
I need to issue a Visitors Surrvey popup to all new visitors.

I want the surrvey to then drop a cookie to say that this person has seen the surrvey and that it should not pop up again.

I simply won’t use a popup unless I can achieve this.

Any help would be boss.
