I’ve created a graphic that has tweening incorporated within it. I want to duplicate the effect but modify what is being tweened.

Example: I have some words that have a certain effect… say 26.2 miles. Then I have some more words that say 112 miles. I want the overall effect to be the same but with different words.

Everytime I copy one and modify it, all instances are changed. I know this is how flash works, but does anyone have any ideas for a simple workaround… kinda new to Flash.

Thanks much!

Gary

go to your library, highlight the symbol you want to copy, right click…

then duplicate symbol. Then a dialog box will ask for a new name…

then change the text in the new symbol…
