# Copying and pasting between to files in ps

Whenever I try to copy/cut a thing from one file to another in PS it just doesn’t work… I tried copying a basic blue square and it pasted as a black outlined- white square. I have looked around but i think this is too basic a question for any tutorials to have 😉
