# Copyright game

hello kirupa users,

I have a question about copyright issues. Is it ok for me to remake a commonly known game and and commercialize it?  
For instance, I want to remake a “frogger” like game, but in a whole new setting.  
Instead of the traditional cars and logs, it will be a space center with more horrfying contraptions with a lot more action involved.

The only thing it will copy is the fact that the movement and genre is similar - what are you opinions?
