One time a whole bunch of us on spring break were doing a little road trip and we ended up heading towards Big Bend National Park in Texas. It was like 2 or 3 a.m. and my friend was driving and the rest of us were crashed out. I woke up because the car kept hitting these bumps, like the road was really bad or something. Turned out there were like eighty gazillion rabbits out there. I mean you couldn’t drive 50 feet without one racing across the road, right under the car. And my poor friend that was responsible for keeping us all alive was trying her hardest not to hit them. As I was coming out of slumber I could hear her, weeping her poor little heart out, mumbling under her breath “oh poor little bunny! i hope he doesn’t have a family! oh poor poor bunny!”. I started cracking up and she got really pissed . . . . . . so the next day I found a toy store and bought her a stuffed rabbit and left it wedged under her front tire . . . :beam: ---

reminds me of: small girl with big eyes enters a pet shop, and looks up to the shop owner. girl: I’d like to buy a bunny. Shop owner: Sure. Do you want the sweet furry white one or the cute brown one with it’s white dot on the tail? girl: Oh, I don’t think my python will have any preference concerning that. ---

ha ha ha! and THAT reminds me of: Same friend who had a pet lizard in her dorm room in college. She would feed it crickets. She’s buy a dozen or so at a time and just put them in the lizards cage and he would eat them whenever he was hungry. So one time this random guy stops by her room and is checking out the cage. The lizard is under a rock, chilling unseen. The guy (who I dont’ think was very bright to begin with) was saying “oh wow you have crickets? that is so cool! so do you like listen to them chirp at night and stuff?” And my friend looks at me, rolls her eyes and says “uh, yeah, chirping”. So at that moment, Lars the lizard decides to make his appearance. He saunters out from under the rock and WHAM! snatches a cricket and gulps it down. The guy freaks out and starts screaming “holy s\*\*\*! the lizard ate the cricket! the lizard ate the cricket!” I almost peed my pants but he was pretty shook up. :lol: ---
