# Could use some help on this flash based blog

im doing this blog for class (didn’t want to use blogger, since it is a digital art class and i figured it could use a little more flair).

I need a couple of things figured out. I’m trying on my own, but I figured it wouldn’t hurt to ask here.

1. You’ll notice that the initial entry there is tracked out. Flash 8 allows you to change the spacing between the letters. However, when I load external text files, the tracking resets and the letters get squished together. How can I maintain the tracking?

2. The scrollbar, based off of Claudio’s, does not reset if you switch entries, which could become a problem. How might I force it to reset?

3. The scrollbar, based off of Claudio’s, is not affected by the length of the text. How could I get the text box to vary dependent on the length of the content?

4. How can I force a file refresh? If you read an entry, then I change them, your browser will use the old entry no matter how many times you refresh the flash element.

Any help is appreciated!
