You could also implement a quick encryption/decryption algorithm for your “hidden” filenames, such as md5. :asian: Here’s a page with various algorithms already translated into a Actionscript 2.0 class set. [http://www.meychi.com/archive/000031.php](http://www.meychi.com/archive/000031.php) _Basic example_: You can encrypt the string of a filename, and decrypt the string before loading the file. This might be useful to hide the actual location of mp3 files being played through a site. This should be effective if the source isn’t viewable. PHP or some other scripting language is the better bet, since it is hidden. ---

but it’s really simple to decode the encoded string… the same way it was encoded ---

So, the source is readable. That’s retarded. nm then. flash sucks at security. don’t trust it. ---
