Anybody else having consistently bad luck with it?

I, for one, have decided to stop using it… Just went through the motions / email exchanges on a 3rd rental property in the past two months, only to find out the listing was a scam, again. This, in addition to the recent [Seattle-based ‘Craigslist robbery’](http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&resnum=0&q=seattle%20craigslist%20robbery&um=1&ie=UTF-8&tbo=u&tbs=nws:1&source=og&sa=N&tab=wn) and other cases like it (albeit, the others are somewhat less horrific), are my reasons for abandoning the service…

I used to have pretty decent luck with it… found a few pets / electronics / etc before moving to Washington…

What have your experiences been like? Anybody else _successfully_ rent a place from a CL listing in recent history?
