# Create FLV from normal video file dynamically

Hi all,

I was wondering if it is possible to convert a normal video file (avi, mpeg, mov, etc) to FLV dynamically through code? I need to be able to do this through my flash application without the flash authoring environment.

I’ve searched the forums but only found resources to applications that convert them beforehand.
