# Create/Read/Write text files in Flash

Hi Guys ,

I am trying to create .txt file dynamically from a Flash projector exe on to the local system for a game, Wherein the score and the players name should be stored.  
I have tried using the Loadvariable POST method to no avail. CAn anyone please help me through with this problem.

Yes, but only if you use MX.  
You can’t do anything with text files with just FLash, you can look at the tools at [www.flashjester.com](http://www.flashjester.com), means $, or…

use the new localObject in MX to save any data you want to the useres drive…check the tutorial on that at [kirupa.com](http://kirupa.com).
