# Creating Animated and Cool Flash Backgrounds

A number of top flash sites have a wonderful background effect, in which the borders draw themselves, or the outline of the movie tweens in.

What is the way to create this? I tried very hard, but could not find any tutorial…maybe because i am not aware of the technical terms.

Is anyone able to share a tutorial, or some tips on how to do this??

I never seen any tutorial regarding this subject…:-\

but that´s exactly what you said: a lot of tweens.

mess around in flash, soon enough you´ll develop your tweening skills.

oh… and btw, i love castlevania, and seeing your screen name i couldn´t resist making an alucard avatar for you :crazy:

i LOVE castlevania…symphony of the night was amazing.

There must be a tutorial then on static backgrounds.

I mean [http://www.smr7.com](http://www.smr7.com) check that…i am trying to have something similar…that is awesome 🙂

about the avatar: you´re welcome 😉  
[EDIT] did you make the background of the avatar white? coz the one i made for you is transparent…

about the background thing: i don´t see any reason to have a tute on that subject. it will depend on how do you want to build your background and how good you are with tweens. there is little AS invoved (except for play & stop) :-\
