# Creating (attached) pattern in Illustrator

hi Everybody,

I`m trying to create the attached pattern in Illustrator.  
I used a 45 degree angle line and created a patern, but the diestances between the lines are to large… the shorter the lines, the less accurate the pattern. any ideas??
