# Creating tutorials using flash

I am just making a simple tutorial on how login to my site. All I want to do is screen capture a web page and then show a mouse pointer click in a text box and type in a name, password, ect… I know a program called RoboDemo which does the same thing but I would like to learn how to do this in Flash MX. Anyone have any suggestions or knows of any tutorials that shows how to do this exact task?

thats weird, worked on my win2k computer but not the xp one. Anyways, yes thats what I am trying to accomplish! hows the best way to set something like that up?

Simple use of keyframes, and a couple of motion tweens. I used keyframe by keyframe type thing for typing in the text, and tweens for the mouse pointer.

go to the above to download the source behind it… its a very scrappy piece so forgive the quality, but what you need is there. You may want to spend more time getting a better mouse pointer and stuff. A quick print screen of your site should do, and you can paste it onto its own layer. then do all the animation on a layer above it.
