# Creditcard-design Battle

The idea is to create the design for a Mastercard. Here are the rules/guidelines:
\*\*Task
\*\*A new mastercard is about to be launched and you are designing the _front_ of the card. The company has just started, so they also need a logo that must appear on the card. The name of the comapny is “Mono Bank” (feel free to submit a better name, but it should be short). They stated that the card should be “elegant, modern and expensive-looking”.
\*\*Target group
\*\*The aim for this card is to attract wealthy businessmen in the ages 30 years and above. The card needs to signalize \*trust \*and _availability_.
\*\*Submissions
\*\*Max 3 submissions pr person, and only submit the front of the card. Give a short explenation containing all the details on your work that are relevant. I have made a template with all the stuff that HAS to be on the card.

Template
**I have made an “exact” copy of a mastercard. This includes the mastercard logo and all the text and stuff. This template is in pdf-format, but I can email it as illustrator, indesign or photoshop-format as well if this is needed. Important notes**
\*You are _not_ allowed to change the font used for the numbers and name on this template, but you may change the color as you wish. The mastercard-logo is not to be changed in any way.
\*All the elements in this template are positioned correctly, and you may not move these around.
\*The blue background-color is just a box I made so that you have the ‘rounded corners’ of the card. You may change this as you wish, but please leave the rounded corners in your final design.
\*The grey box above the Mastercard-logo is to be replaced with a design of your own. An example of this could be a watermark of the logo you will design.

Prize for 1st place
\*\*I was thinking about buying a book on typogrphy to the winner, but I can’t seem to find one in my home town. Any suggestions? It’s kinda boring just to send money… Anyway, 1st price will be awarded with something around 50-70 us dollars.
I will only give this prize away if there are a total of 15 or more submissions. This means that _at least_ 5 people has to submit 3 designs each, or 15 people must submit one each etc…
In the unlikely event that I should win, the price will go to the runner up (2nd place)

Summary\*\*
1. Create an elegant Mastercard-design for the company ‘Mono Bank’.
2. Create a logo for the company ‘Mono bank’. This logo must appear at least once on the card.
3. The target group is wealthy businesspeople in the ages 30+.
4. The card needs to signalize \*trust \*and _availability_.
5. Other than the suggested guidelines you are totally free to design whatever you want.
