# Css and scroller

Hello all,

I’ve been using this site as my go-to resource for learning some great stuff Flash. I just learned the “scrolling external text” trick and additionally, moved on to “apply css attributes to the external text.” I have discovered however that modifying the AS code for css seems to have disabled the scrolling feature, i.e., the slider doesn’t appear and the arrow buttons don’t work. I don’t see anything in the code that refers to the scroller component. Any clues?

Later that week…

Ok, I fished around and found a solution for this. Still a little buggy though, css file doesn’t always load correctly and displays “undefined” now and then. Any tutes on explaining to clients what a pain in the \*\*\* this is?
