# Css printed tables

hi all

I just wondered if it is possible to have coloured background tables in a the print format.

In css I can style my tables with what ever colour i choose using a style sheet.

But when I created a similar print style sheet the printed version displayed the table cells without the background cell styling properties which I attributed to them in CSS.

I am begging to think that it is not possible to add colour background elements in css to tables for print. IS THIS TRUE?
