Trying to fade up dynamic text.

I’ve styled it with CSS. I want it to fade up but I’m having trouble getting it to work.

Q 1
Can I use a font symbol as the fontFamily in my CSS file. And if so would I then be able to dynamically fade the text?

Thanks in advance
