# Customizing flash button components

I am working with a flash MX 04 comboBox and a V1 button. There is a bug between the comboBox and the v1 button – it is noted here at Kirupa on the “Bugs” thread – if you select the comboBox and then a regular button, you only get one click on the button unless you move it slightly – BOO!. Since this is the case, I am trying to work with flash MX 04 button components. The problem is I cannot figure out how to customize the button to my own graphics. The other avenue I have been trying is to apply addListeners functions to non MX 04 component buttons. :cons: Is there a way to work with the MX 04 comboBox and buttons that you can customize?
