I’m trying to copy a .fla from cd to my hard drive. I keep getting an “Invalid MS DOS function” error message. 🅰 Please help!
And then I’m trying to install AVG anti-virus … it goes through the first stage and quits. No error message … nothing. :crying: Please please help!

Sounds like a virus, trojan, spyware, or something else. Btw, are you able to copy other files from other CDs?

Hey Kirupa, thanks for responding!
I was able to copy all other files … primarily jpg ---- though one or two of those failed as well.
Flash MX, AVG and SpyBot refuse to launch now. Woe is me.

Go into Safe Mode and install AVG. Make sure you have network enabled safe mode.
