# Datefield Question

[COLOR=#191970]Hi![/COLOR]  
[COLOR=#191970]I am new to Flash 8 Pro. I am trying to use a datefield component where you can scroll through months and years to easily go back 30 or 40 years. [/COLOR]  
[COLOR=#191970]When I place the datefield on the stage I can only move back or forward one month per click, and holding the mouse down does not move the date. [/COLOR]  
[COLOR=#191970]I wonder if the component that I saw was customized, or am I doing something wrong with the datefield component that is bundled with Flash 8?[/COLOR]
