What can one do to prevent someone from decompiling my swf and copycatting my work?

I don’t mean to sound suspicious or over-protective, but it seems that ASV and other decompilers give anyone with some basic AS knowledge to swipe another’s work, modify it and publish it as their own.

Is there a workaround to this?
