# Dectecting Active X with ASP

Hello everyone

Im trying to make an asp page detect wether the clients browser has ActiveX enabled so i can use an " IF THEN" function to display either html or flash.

[ASP.NET](http://ASP.NET) lets you do this using something like \<%=Requestbrowser.ActiveXControls%\> But i cant find anything in asp to do this.
