# Dedicated Servers Help

Hey y’all,  
I’m trying to run a dedicated server for my counter-strike clan. I have my box dual-booted with Linux and Win2k. I was wondering if there is a way where I could have the server running on my Linux OS, and then switch onto my windows so I could play it?  
Or does anyone here know how I could trick the dedicated server into thinking I’m running on a different comp?  
I tried changing my UDP port for the dedicated server to 27016, while my counter-strike client is on 27015. It works great, but no one else can see or join the server…  
I don’t understand how to, and trust me, I’ve checked google for a while, but I couldn’t find anything really stable on what I was looking for.

Hrmm,  
That wouldn’t work Marble, the dedicated server client is like a whole nother app. But I Have figured it out on my own, thank you for your help! 😃
