# Default Bitmap Compression Flash 8

What’s the deal with the 50% default compression on any imported bitmaps??  
I’m wasting a ton of time going through and changing each picture to bring it up to a decent quality.

Does anybody know where the default compression settings are hiding? Or a workaround??
